Diane's interest in art and design stretches back to her earliest memories. "As a toddler I would spend hours staring at the pictures and prints on the walls of my parents' flat. I never tired of the images, there was always something new to see in them."

At school she showed great promise artistically. Art college beckoned but she chose a path into secretarial work. Her career in art and design started when she joined an office bureau as a secretary only to find herself designing everything from personalised greetings cards to logos for businesses. Her promotion to designer led her to return to college in the evenings to further study art & design.

The ensuing years saw her return to office work whilst continuing with art and design during her leisure time.

In 2002 she left her job at a media company to illustrate eleven children's books written by her mother-in-law. Three of the books have been published. Click here for details.
